  1. This looks lovely but because of the title “Italian Language Immersion Tour” I was expecting you’d be studying or learning to speak Italian. Sounds much more like a food tour to be precise.

    1. Ciao Jeanette, this IS a Language Immersion Tour! We will be speaking and interacting with locals all through out our excursion. There is no better way to learn Italian than being immersed in the culture and using the language on a daily basis through activities such as cooking with Italian ladies, tasting wine and listening to the vintners explain their wine making process, baking pizza in a local trattoria…all with native Italian speakers. We are taking students out of the class room and into Italy to hear, absorb and use the language all day long. I just spent a week with a friend who visited me from Milan and we spoke Italian the entire time. I learned more during my week of immersion with her than I did studying from a book or listening to language tapes! Yle and I are providing a similar experience and we hope that you will come along with us and put your language to great use and deepen your knowledge of the language by actively participating with the Italians you will encounter through all the activities that we are arranging.

Let me know if you have any other questions! A presto! Stammi bene! Meli
