Alcuni mesi fa ho ricevuto un messaggio da Ylenia Sambati di YLTOUR in cui lei ha proposto a me l’idea di organizzare insieme un gruppetto per una settimana di conversazione in Italiano, cucinare, l’arte, visite turistiche e altre belle cose in Puglia. Dal momento in cui ho ricevuto la sua email ero molto entusiasta e dopo averne parlato con mio marito abbiamo deciso che sarebbe un’opportunità non da mancare! Allora! Sono molto lieta di accettare la sua offerta e di invitarvi a raggiungermi e Yle in Puglia quest’estate 
per un tour indimenticabile! Sarà un momento magico per imparare la lingua, fare nuove conoscenze, cucinare con le mamme italiane e fare le gite per scoprire bene l’Italia sud e la Puglia.
Several months ago I received a message from Yelania Sambati of YLTOUR in which she proposed to me the idea of organizing together a small group for a week of language immersion, cooking, art, sight seeing and other wonderful things in Puglia. From the moment in which I received her email I was very excited and after discussing the idea with my husband we decided it would be an opportunity I could not miss. So! I am very pleased to accept her offer and to invite you to join me and Yle in Puglia this summer for an unforgettable tour! It will be a magical moment for learning the language, making new friends, cooking with Italian mammas and taking excursions to discover more about southern Italy and Puglia.

Che potete aspettarvi / What you can expect
Una settimana trascorsa con un piccolo gruppo di nuovi amici che sono appassionati di Italia, vino, cucinare e l’apprendimento della lingua. Uomini, donne, coppie di tutte le età! Sono benvenuti gli studenti della lingua di tutti i livelli, da principiante a quelli che sono più avanzati. Ci sono posti per il minimo di 4 persone e il massimo 15 persone.
A week spent with a small group of new friends who are passionate about Italy, wine, cooking and learning the language. Men, women, couples of all ages! Language student of all levels from beginners to advanced are welcome. There are spots for a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 15 people.

Gli alloggi saranno alla masseria in campagna con piscina a soltanto 1 km dal mare!
The accommodations will be at a farm house in the country with a pool and only 1km from the sea!

Che faciamo? Ogni giorno ci saranno classi informali e divertenti di lingua. Certamente possiamo continuare a parlare in Italiano tutto il tempo per esercitarci la lingua! Per esempio ci sarà un nuovo lessico ogni giorno per attività diverse (cucina, corso di cartapesta, yoga, corso di pasticceria, pranzi con gente del posto, fotografia, facciamo la pizza in pizzeria, la spesa al mercato, ecc). Sarà una vacanza studio rilassante, divertente e al tempo stesso permetterà ai partecipanti di mettere in pratica l’italiano in contesti veri.
Facciamo le gite di giorno per visitare Lecce, il sud salento, Otranto, Gallipoli, Alberobello, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare.
What will we do? Every day there will be informal and entertaining language classes. Certainly we can continue to talk in Italian during the rest of the day to practice our Italian. For instance there will be new topics everyday that will pertain to what we are doing that day (cooking, mask making, yoga, baking, lunch with locals, photography, making pizza in a pizzeria, shopping in the market etc.) It will be a relaxing & enjoyable vacation, but will at the same time will allow participants to practice Italian in
real contexts.
We will also be taking day trips to visit Lecce, the south Salento, Otranto, Gallipoli, Alberbello, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare.

Come si può arrivare in Puglia e che l’aeroporto è più vicino? L’aeroporto più vicino sarebbe l’aeroporto di Brindisi. Yle farà accordi per il ritiro e riconsegna. Attualmente sto organizzando con un altro servizio a prezzi ragionevoli per i voli a Puglia dagli Stati Uniti.
How does one arrive in Puglia and which airport is closest? The nearest airport would be the Brindisi Airpot. Yle will make accommodations for pick and and drop off. I am currently organizing with another travel service reasonable airline flights to Puglia from the U.S. So I will update you all with news of air travel arrangements if you are interested.
