È una follia andare al centro commerciale in questo periodo dell’anno! Le folle sono terribili. Tante persone hanno fretta o invece fanno le fila in attesa di incontrare Babbo Natale e suoi folletti. Nelle strade potete sentire il tintinnio dei campanelli da slitta è la fanfara di una parata. Fa freddo e l’aria è fresca. Invece di combattere la folla penso che sia meglio tornare a casa per riscaldarsi davanti al fuoco del camino. O potete ballare e festeggiare con le figlie in felpe natalizie intorno a un fantastico albero festivo. Meno male a quest momento c’è sempre una pianta che non perde le foglie. Mia nonna mi ha raccontato che c’era una volta una fata fantasiosa che ha incantato gli abeti per rimanere giovani e verdi anche in inverno. C’era solo una condizione. La mattina di Natale ci deve essere sempre meravigliose sorprese per tutti i figli piccoli in legno fatto da un falegname sotto i rami degli alberi. Che favola!

My grandmother told me the story that once upon a time there was a fanciful fairy that charmed the fir tree to remain young and green even in the winter. There was just one condition. On Christmas morning there must always be wonderful surprises for all little children made of wood by a carpenter found under the branches of the trees. What a fairy tale!
