La missione di bab.la è quello di diventare il più grande dizionario online del mondo. Per raggiungere questo obiettivo il loro team internazionale e multilingue dei contenuti lavora mano nella mano con gli utenti, che possono suggerire parole per i dizionari e quindi migliorare la loro qualità. Dal loro ufficio ad Amburgo, in Germania, si sforzano di mantenere un prodotto di lingua di alta qualità con l’aggiunta di nuove ammissioni per i dizionari, controllando i suggerimenti dai utenti.

They have 39 dictionaries for 28 languages, a language forum, vocabulary lessons, language games, quizzes, verb conjugation for 13 languages, phrase books for university, business or travel. The bab.la mission is to become the world’s largest online dictionary. To achieve this goal their international and multilingual content team works hand in hand with the users, who can suggest words for the dictionaries and therefore improve their quality.   1. I’m thinking that it is time to start studying Italian again. I have studied off & on for a lot of years but have never mastered the language. Both my parents were native speakers of Italian but, alas, their children are not. I can get along in simple Italian conversations but I am not able to hold complex discourses. One of the problems I have is, there are no Italian speakers near me with whom I can practice.Time for me to give bab.la a whirl! ( might that name be a reference to Babalon? ) Love your blog and you, too! Your friend, Zingara
