In the afternoons, we will focus on the Italian language as applied to Art, History and Music/Opera in our carefully crafted Cultural Programme. Plus, take a look at our Special Lessons: practical cooking, wine tasting and our unique Gondola Lesson will give you a chance to practice and improve your Italian in a privileged and unique environment, contextualising the language in many different situations and fields.

Conoscete Diego e Lucia!

Hello, I am Diego.
I was born in Venice, graduated in Bologna in 2000 and have been working in London ever since. My teaching career started in late 2000 with a teacher training course at the prestigious International House School of Languages, London, UK. In early 2001 I had my first teaching job and I have carried on since, teaching conversational and business Italian to groups and individuals. I have gained valuable experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

Hello everyone, I am Lucia.
I was born in Venice where I lived until I was 18; then I moved first to Milan and later to Verona, where in 2005 I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures – English and German. I arrived in London in 2006 and my career as a teacher started in 2007 when I had my teacher training courseat the International House School of Languages.

Students from around the world are delighted with Venice Italian School!

“Being a teacher myself, I valued the method of deliver, tying the new concepts and new vocabulary to the practical experiences. It was also fun!” – Chantal Daubrie – September 2011 Switzerland

“Lucia was excellent! Very good teaching, very inforrmative, very motivating, lovely personality. And also listening to studetn’s wishes! As a tacher myself I recognized and enjoyed her skills”. – Marcio Cruz – March 2011 Brazil
