Buone feste a tutti!

Happy holidays everyone!

Vi auguro tanta felicità. Ora mancano sei giorno al Natale. Siete pronti?

Wishing you lots of happiness. There are only six days left until Christmas. Are you all ready?

Preparo tutti i dolci e i biscotti.

Every year we put up a tree and build the manager scene. We decorate the outside of the house with lights. I make sweets and holiday cookies. We eat a lot, we go to parties and we host all of our friends at our house too. The party at my place is tonight! So, I don’t have a lot of time to waste…I must get a move on. I still have a lot to do to get ready for the party. But, I wanted to stop by the blog to say hi. It is one of my traditions to send out holiday cards to all my friends and share with them how much my kids have grown during the year. It is my way of staying in touch with the important people in my life. All you blog readers are also my friends…so I wanted to send you one of our cards!

Come festeggiate? Ci sono le feste? Mangerete tanto tanto? Ditemi che fate per la vigilia! Che cosa preparate?

How do you all celebrate? Do you go to parties? Do you eat too much? Tell me what you do on Christmas Eve! What do you prepare?

Divertitevi! Buon weekend tutti!

I’ll be back next week with more holidays updates…while we start the countdown for Christmas Eve. Have fun! Enjoy the weekend!

  1. Wonderful photo of the entire clan! Even the dogs! Blessings on all of you.
When I was a kid, back in the Ice Age, all Italians were Catholic so, therefore we all abstained from eating meat the day before Christmas. My mother always made a special fish soup for that evening meal. We usually had the clan at our house so all of the aunts, uncles and cousins celebrated with us. We had a houseful, bursting at the seams. That was the night our tree was trimmed and the festivities began.

I send my best to your family and wish all your blogsters a Merry Christmas. Love you, my dear, Marianne Ricci-Wilson (Zingara)
