I would like to present my friend Emma who is an Italian language teacher who lives in Rome. I had the opportunity to meet up with Emma last year in Rome and together we explored the Roman ghetto and later had dinner in a delightful trattoria. That evening we dined on artichokes, pasta carbonara and drank a very good red wine. As we ate, the restaurant owner sat at a table nearby peeling crates and crates of artichokes and he happily joined in our conversation from time to time.
