Sira is an Italian teacher who lives in Sarzana in Liguria. Together we collaborate to bring you homestay language vacations in Italy to live la vita bella and to learn the language. Sira encourages you, in this time of world-wide lockdown to keep your Italian studies alive and thriving. And even though it isn’t possible to travel to Italy at the moment and stay in her home, she would like to open her home up to you anyway and provide you with a “virtual homestay” language learning experience.

Together we will admire the millennial wooden cross of Mastro Guglielmo, and visit the renowned wine cellar, as well as learn how to cook the herb cake and other typical dishes of this area… and we will do so much more according to your interests and tastes.

Cinque Terre: antichi borghi marinari arroccati sulla montagna che scende a picco sul mare, caratteristici per i loro terrazzamenti coltivati a vigneti e olivi.
Cinque Terre: The ancient seaside villages perched on the mountain that descends sharply to the sea, characteristic for their terraces cultivated with vineyards and olive trees.

Palazzo Bonaparte: al numero 28 di via Mazzini, nel centro di Sarzana, c’è la casa torre del XIV secolo appartenuta alla famiglia Bonaparte prima che questa si trasferisse in Corsica.
Palazzo Bonaparte: at number 28 via Mazzini, in the center of Sarzana, there is the 14th century tower house that belonged to the Bonaparte family before they moved to Corsica.
Fortezza Firmafede: è una fortezza del XIII secolo ampliata e ristrutturata nel XV secolo da Lorenzo dei Medici.
The Firmafed Fortress: it is a 13th century fortress enlarged and renovated in the 15th century by Lorenzo de’ Medici.

La Croce Lignea (1138) di Mastro Guglielmo, conservata nella cattedrale di Sarzana, è il più antico esemplare di croce dipinta.
The wooden cross (1138) by Matro Guglielmo, preserved in the cathedral of Sarzana, one of the oldest examples of painted crosses.
