“Due Amiche” Short Story with audio

Serena è l’ispirazione dietro il blog ItalianPills.com dove da dieci anni aiuta gli studenti ad imparare l’Italiano attraverso mezzi creativi e intelligenti. Adesso ha scritto e pubblicato una novella divertente intitolato “Due Amiche” che si svolge in Alto Adige. Non solo è culturalmente interessante, è anche un modo efficace per acquistare nuovi vocaboli ed espressioni mentre si pratica la lettura, l’ascolto e la grammatica. Alla fine di ogni capitol, c’è un riassunto e attività utili per rafforzare il materiale. I libri sono ideali principianti e intermedi in quanto I capitoli sono semplice e richiedono circa 10-20 minuti per essere completati, quindi può essere un ottimo corso di studio di 16 giorni. Il libro include anche una narrazione audio fatto da Serena.
Serena is the inspiration behind the blog www.italianpills.com where for the past ten years has helped students learn Italian through creative and intelligent means. Now she’s written and published an entertaining novella (a short novel) called “Due Amiche” that takes place in Alto Adige. Not only is it culturally interesting it also is an effective way of acquiring new vocabulary and expressions while practicing reading, listening, and grammar. At the end of each chapter, there is a recap and useful activities to reinforce the material. The books are ideal for beginning and intermediate students as the chapters are simple and take about 10-20 minutes to finish, so it can be a great 16-day study course. The book also comes with audio narration made by Serena.

Read or listen to Italian & English novels. Audiobooks are perfect for those (like me) who take long walks every day or who commute in a car. Here are a few of my picks found on Audible and in print or epub. Check back as I’m always adding more as I discover great novels to listen to! At the moment I’m listening to “Chiamami col tuo nome” di André Aciman.

The illustration was originally created by Melissa for the book cover of her novel “Waking Isabella.” Each scarf is soft and silky with warm colors that are reminiscent of the buildings that grace many of Italy’s historic piazzas. Each scarf comes in an environmentally friendly gift box. The fabric used in the scarves is specially milled for a silk-like feel, superior print quality, and product durability. Designs are printed to fabrics, then cut and sewn into finely finished products.

One of my favorite jewelry stores in Florence is called La Gazza Ladra and now you can buy La Gazza Ladra creations on Etsy. I have those earrings of the Florence skyline featured above and now you can too!
