if I were a song, what would I be?
When I began my podcast and Youtube channel, I decided it was high time that I had a theme song. The song needed to reflect my love for Italian music, be upbeat and jazzy and convey through the lyrics my “matta” philosophy — that is, if you spread your wings and forget your inhibitions, you will fly farther!
With the help of Payden Schmidt, a young musician who listened to all the Jovanotti songs I sent him, and Gloria Acerboni, my Italian friend and singer, we collaborated and came up with “Vivi, sorridi, divertiti!” la colonna sonora – or Matta theme song.
