L’altro giorno mi sono imbattuta in un sito molto interessante. È chiamato “Reverso Context”. Usando questo sito potete ottenere la traduzione di milioni di parole ed espressioni in inglese e in italiano che vengono utilizzati in contesti reali tradotti da madrelingua, grazie al motore di “Big Data” algoritmi. L’applicazione offre risultati di traduzione complete in un layout intuitivo e conciso: suggerimenti vengono presentati con decine di esempi di utilizzo nel contesto, ordinato secondo pertinenza.

Se avete un dubbio o una curiosità sulla lingua, tutto quello che dovete fare è aprire il sito e digitare o dire quello che vuoi tradurre. In un batter d’occhio i risultati appaiono. Quasi come per magia avrete una pletora di esempi direttamente sullo schermo. In oltre è possibile ascoltare una parola o espressione parlata da un madrelingua. Sul sito troverete anche coniugazioni verbali e un dizionario. Molto utili!

Su questo sito c’è anche la funziona di fare traduzione, come Google Translate. Ma come dico sempre io, state attenti di traduttori automatici. Non sono mai precisi. Meglio dire qualcosa in un modo semplice e preciso che in modo contorto e sbagliato. Non ho ancora trovato un traduttore automatico in grado di distinguere le preposizioni corrette! Le buone traduzioni hanno bisogno di un tocco umano!
On this site, there is also a translation function, like Google Translate. But as I always say, be wary of automated translators. There are never right. Better to say something in a straightforward and precise way than in a twisted and wrong way. I have never met an automated translator that is capable of distinguishing the correct preposition! Good translations need a human touch!
Ciò che rende questo sito ancora più interessante (fichissimo!) è che è possibile salvare le vostre ricerche sul un “frasario” sul sito. Potete rivedere le espressioni preferiti e metterli in pratica per ricordare bene i loro significati.
