Ultimamente, tanti film e programmi TV sono disponibili su Netflix in italiano! Gli spettacoli sono produzioni italiane originali, film stranieri o americani doppiati in italiano con sottotitoli in italiano.
Lately, many films and TV shows on Netflix are available in Italian! The shows are either original Italian productions, foreign films, or American dubbed in Italian with Italian subtitles.
Con le temperature alle stelle e l’aumento del calore estivo, preferisco guardare film leggere. Cio’è, ho la voglia di guardare film che trattano di romanticism che mi fanno suonare d’amore e film ironici che mi fanno ridere. Romcom! In Italia, si chiamano Commedie rosa. Questa settimana ho visto molti film divertenti e simpatici. Non solo mi mi sto divertendo, ma mi sto godendo lo scenario italiano e ascoltando gli attori che parlano in italiano – cosa c’è di meglio!
With temperatures skyrocketing and summer heat rising, I prefer to watch light movies. That’s is, I want to watch movies about summer romance and ironic movies that make me laugh. Romcom! In Italy, they’re called Commedie rosa. I’ve seen a lot of fun movies this week. Not only am I enjoying myself, but I am enjoying the Italian scenery and listening to the actors speaking in Italian – what could be better!

Select a show you want to watch; click the language settings & switch to Italian language. You can turn on or off the subtitles options. If you go with subtitles, I recommend you select Italian, not English that way, you won’t be distracted by the poorly translated English subtitles and focus more on Italian!

Seconda me, come vanno le commedie rosa, okay è un po’ cliché, ma, ancora è piuttosto carina!
In my opinion, as RomComs go, okay, it’s a bit cliched, but still, it is pretty darn cute!
Unici e divertenti. Marta potrebbe essere orfana (ha perso i genitori in tenera età), e potrebbe essere affetta da una malattia letale (fibrosi cistica, come comunemente lo conosciamo), ma è la persona più positiva che si possa incontrare. Vive con due amici d’infanzia meravigliosamente solidali, Jacopo e Federica, che lei chiama la famiglia. Prima che il suo tempo scada, l’unica cosa che vuole disperatamente è provare il vero amore.
Quirky and fun! Marta may be an orphan (she lost her parents at a very young age), and she may be affected by a lethal illness (Cystic Fibrosis, as we commonly know it), but she is the most positive person one can meet. Secondo me, la storia è piuttosto assurda e non ha senso. Ma, ehi! È un romcom! Il film viene riscattato se visto in italiano con sottotitoli in italiano e lo scenario grandioso.
In my opinion, the basis of the story is lame and doesn’t hang together. But hey, it’s a RomCom! The film redeems itself if viewed in Italian with Italian subtitles and by the great scenery.

Il film è basato sul romanzo più venduto, Love & Gelato, che non ho letto, ma ho sentito è molto meglio!
A pretty nonsensical storyline… Why her mother never told her daughter the truth about her real father, or why the mother never returned to Italy to be with the real love of her life and the country she loved so much is beyond me! The film is based on the best-selling novel, Love & Gelato, which I haven’t read, but have heard is much better!
Dangerous Liaisons : French

Sì, è un film francese, e sicuramente non alla pari con l’originale 1988 American Film interpretato da Michelle Pfeiffer e John Malkovich. Ma, è un po’ interessante in quanto mette un tocco contemporaneo sul film originale, prendendo gerarchia 17° secolo corte alla gerarchia attuale di stelle dei social media. Si svolge sul Rivera francese, ci sono scene di spiagge, feste estive, ed Europa. Puoi guardarlo in italiano, motivo per cui lo includo in questa lista.
Yes, it’s a French film, and definitely not on par with the original 1988 American Film starring Michelle Pfeiffer and John Malkovich. But, it is kind of interesting as it puts a contemporary twist on the original film, taking 17th court hierarchy to the current day hierarchy of social media stars. It takes place on the French Rivera, there are scenes of beaches, summer parties, and Europe. You can watch it in Italian, which is why I include it on this list.
