Meet Renata

Ciao! I’m Renata Venturoli, a native Italian teacher with a deep passion for languages, culture, and—naturally—Italy. I was born and raised in Milan, a city close to my heart, and for several years I’ve dedicated myself to teaching Italian to international students, both online and in person.

I hold a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Milan, and I earned my DITALS certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena, which has allowed me to specialize in teaching Italian as a second language. While I have previously taught French, today my focus is entirely on Italian, a language I love sharing with others through an energetic, creative, and personalized approach.

I’m also passionate about cinema, literature, art, travel, and—of course—delicious Italian cuisine. These passions often find their way into my lessons, offering students a rich, immersive experience that goes beyond grammar and vocabulary.

I look forward to sharing with you not just my language, but also the joy, beauty, and culture of Italy—starting right here in Milan.

She accompanies her students on a journey through the hidden corners of Milan, sharing its art, cuisine, and culture while turning every lesson into a genuine immersion in the language. Students experience Italian while strolling through city parks, shopping at neighborhood markets, visiting historic house-museums, attending concerts, and—for music lovers—watching rehearsals at the Teatro alla Scala. Sometimes, learning simply means savoring a good glass of wine in a cozy enoteca.

Renata offers custom-tailored courses and cultural experiences for anyone who wants to learn the language while getting to know Italian life more intimately. Her teaching is adaptable to all levels, with options including beginner, intermediate, and advanced Italian, as well as conversation and literature courses for higher-level learners.
