Discover Bergamo with Chiara — Why Choose Bergamo?
Bergamo is a hidden gem in northern Italy, still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism, yet capable of leaving every visitor absolutely breathless. It’s a city of contrasts, where past and present blend in perfect harmony.
The Città Alta (Upper Town), perched on a hill and encircled by magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Venetian walls, offers breathtaking medieval views, cobblestone alleys, and a timeless charm. In contrast, the Città Bassa (Lower Town) is a vibrant blend of modern elegance, with its historic cafés, cutting-edge design boutiques, and bustling cultural life.
Beyond its beauty, Bergamo is also strategically located. Just a few kilometers from the international airport of Orio al Serio, and well-connected by trains, buses, and highways, it’s incredibly accessible and makes the perfect base for exploring northern Italy.
Surrounding the city are valleys, mountains, and plains that whisper centuries-old stories and offer genuine, traditional flavors. Whether you’re hiking in the nearby hills or enjoying a local festival in a nearby village, you’ll experience the deep-rooted culture that pulses just beyond the city’s lively heart.
And with Chiara as your guide, Bergamo becomes more than just a destination — it becomes a full-immersion adventure in language, culture, and authentic Italian living.
Meet Chiara
A dreamer with a sharp eye for detail and an insatiable curiosity, Chiara believes that true learning happens at the intersection of emotion and real-life experience. That’s why she transforms every lesson into a lived moment, where words take on meaning through context, and mistakes are embraced as opportunities to grow.
Chiara was born and raised in Bergamo, where she earned a degree in Economics and Business. Her journey into teaching Italian began almost by chance—a twist of fate that led her to work at a language school in Canada. That unexpected opportunity opened her eyes to a powerful truth: the best way to learn a language is by living it, step by step, in the real world.
After returning to Italy from Canada, Chiara refined her teaching skills by exploring innovative approaches to language learning. This journey led to her unique method—a blend of motivation, emotion, and strategy that makes every lesson a personalized and meaningful experience.
At the heart of Chiara’s world is her family—her greatest support. Her husband and two children, Tommaso (13) and Camilla (9), remind her daily of the value of listening and adapting. They inspire her to see each student as unique, shaping her teaching into an approach that is not only methodical but also deeply human, empathetic, and flexible.
