I loved chatting with this talented ceramic artist I loved chatting with this talented ceramic artist I met in Lucignano today. Meet Nora, Ceramista Maestro d’Arte. After studying fashion design in Arezzo, she taught herself the art of ceramic painting and developed an extraordinary style all her own. What fascinated me most is that every piece she creates is completely unique. The ceramic she was working on today had only just begun. When I asked what the final design would look like, she smiled and explained that she didn’t know yet. She simply follows her inspiration, letting each piece evolve as she paints. If you’re visiting Lucignano, be sure to stop by her studio at Via Matteotti 9.
