Here, you will live independently in an apartment with a private bathroom, kitchen, and living room (soggiorno), ensuring comfort and privacy.
Emma resides just down the street, providing easy access to tailored educational activities. She offers morning language lessons in the apartment’s living area and leads walking tours around the city to enhance your learning with real-world practice. What to Expect from Emma’s Language Course: Emma is highly qualified, holds a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Pisa, and has advanced credentials in teaching Italian as a foreign language. Her postgraduate specialization was completed at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, focusing on the didactics of Italian as a foreign language. She is certified in Italian language teaching competence at the DITALS 2nd level through the University of Siena’s DITALS Centre. Additionally, Emma is an authorized examiner for CELI and CIC language certification exams, further underscoring her expertise in the field.
Emma’s Homestay courses are tailored to the student’s interests and levels. Learning is both formal and informal. Emma has developed a teaching style combining classic educational methods with afternoon cultural activities. Her lessons are designed to stimulate and enhance the learner’s communicative skills through conversation practice. Each Homestay program will be tailored to each student’s individual needs. They will include guided tours, reading books and magazines, listening to CDs, watching videos in Italian, and using the Internet. Lessons will be designed to help the student improve language skills while at the same time being fun and relaxing.
You can choose to have either 10, 15, or 20 hours of lessons weekly. Generally, the lessons are taken during the morning, with the afternoon reserved for tours and other activities.
