Durante il mese scorso ogni settimana ho pubblicato una parola o un’espressione combinato con un’immagine sulla pagina di Facebook di Studentessa Matta. Queste sono parole casuali che mi sono imbattuto durante la lettura o che ho sentito nei film che ho trovato utile e degno di essere evidenziato.

Ammiccante = with a wink
Quella donna ammiccante lo tiene occupato.
That flirty lady will keep him busy.
“Accidenti, non sei bello stasera! Ti ho quasi scambiato per un cameriere! ” ha detto ammiccante e con un pizzico di ironia.
“My, don’t you look handsome tonight! I almost mistook you for a waiter!” she said with a wink and a touch of irony.
Anna è passata davanti al nostro tavolo con fare ammiccante, di sicuro sta provando a sedurti.
Anna walked by our table with a wink, she’s definitely trying to seduce you.
A bruciapelo = at point-blank
Hanno trovato un corpo in una galleria d’arte, un colpo a bruciapelo tra gli occhi.
A body was found at an art gallery shot point-blank between the eyes.
Quando li trovò insieme il marito sparò all’amante della moglie
